Naamkaran / Namakaran Sanskar / Nwaran / Naam Sanskaran is a traditional Hindu ritual of naming a newborn child. It is one of the 16 samskaras (sacraments) and is believed to shape the child’s identity, energy, and destiny. Depending upon the package selected, the time may vary between 2 and 5 days. There is no level for urgency, because this process is mathematical, spiritual, and creative; it’s better if we don’t rush through it. You may reach out to us on a day that’s not auspicious to even begin the search process, so we may not open the file. We hope those approaching us would care much for such factors and understand the limitations.

We are quite sure it won’t come to this. The efforts we take and the names we suggest when provided with their meanings, connections, and astrological reasoning, you will eventually see the point and opt for the name suggested. Everyone is out there to give a unique name to their baby, but in the process, they forget that sometimes the commonest name is the best for their baby. Just that they don’t know it and in their efforts to be different, they coin an imaginary name which sounds funny, or means strange, or even isn’t favourable to the child. Please read the few pages of our site, where we have discussed these and other similar issues.

As they say in the Bible, “Man is a born sinner.” The same is said in the Bhagavad Geeta and most religious scriptures. Basic thought is ‘We are here to settle our Karmas.’ Had we been ‘Clean’ in a Karmic Sense, we wouldn’t have been born – rather, we would have stayed with the Almighty, becoming part of Him, from where we came. Given that when I’m born here to settle my Karmic Accounts, simply to suffer, the idea is to minimize those sufferings, to minimize our struggles.

The name we suggest would basically be make your/your baby’s journey here, the most comfortable, with minimum sufferings.

But that doesn’t mean we are interfering with the destiny or claim to change it — but we believe that a name, chosen with intention, vibration, and astrological alignment, supports the soul’s journey. We are not merely doing this for money. Trust us, taking someone’s hard-earned money and not working for it, is the last thing we would want to do.

We will try to give you three names that are the best for your baby, according to us. In a rare case, if you don’t like them, we would give you three more options, which are the second best. But if you don’t like that too, then as a special case, we may give you the third set, which would be the last. It’s difficult to satisfy some people despite all our explanations.

Why an advance payment? It’s we who are investing time, knowledge, and experience in your job. So, the advance payment is justified. What if we spend a day finding names for you, even if you don’t like it, we have lost that time. You may consider this as any other expert consultation. You talk to the tax consultant, financial advisor, doctor, lawyer, CA, etc. You pay fees to all of them, whether you follow their advice or not. Why can’t our knowledge and expertise be placed in the same bracket? Why do people expect Astrologers and Creative Advisors to work for free?

We can’t do it without an advance payment. That will imply we also don’t value our services. If we take an advance and don’t serve, then you can give reviews and tarnish our business image. But if you don’t pay us after we provide the service, we can’t do much, except regret our time.
